The latest statue project at the Mercer County VFW moving forward. It’s a soldier kneeling at a battlefield cross says Nick Seefeld, who is leading the project. Groundwork is underway.
Seefeld says a formal dedication could occur next Veterans Day or at special ceremony before then. Fundraisers were held to help pay for the project.
