Former Aledo Man Awaiting Murder Trial In Missouri

A former Aledo man is awaiting trial on murder charges in Missouri where he now resides. 29 year old Adam L. Redding, currently of Buffalo, Missouri is accused of stabbing his boss to death and stealing the victim’s checks. A probable cause statement entered in Dallas County, Missouri Court indicates the deceased man—73 year old Carroll Ford–had been stabbed 30 times on November 29th. Redding was working for Ford on his farm.  Police statements also allege that Redding forged checks from Ford’s checking account dating back to early November.
Redding has a history in the Mercer County court system with three previous felony and three misdemeanor cases filed against him.
