The Mercer County Golden Eagles and Sherrard Tigers had their season come to an end in Class 2A regional sofball action Tuesday. Mercer County lost to Tremont at Rockridge and Sherrard fell to St. Bede at Riverdale. Rockridge and Orion were winners and will play Saturday and Friday for the right to advance to sectional play.
