Mercer County and Rockridge won their softball tournament championships on Saturday. Mercer County defeated Knoxville 11-3 in the Hucke Construction Tournament championship game for the second straight year. The Golden Eagles beat West Carroll 5-0 Friday night and then nipped Rowva-Williamsfield 2-1 on Saturday before stopping Knoxville. Rockridge beat United 11-0, Canton 11-4 and West Central 9-8 to win the Rocket Invitational on Saturday.
In baseball, Eureka edged Rockridge 4-1 in eight innings and Ridgewood swept West Central 12-2 and 10-0 in Lincoln Trail Conference play.
