Drought Conditions Continue To Impact Much Of Illinois

How bad is it for some Illinois farmers this summer? Just ask one of the Mercer County 4H Livestock Show judges. Charlie Bennett was at the Mercer County Fair last week and when WRMJ talked with him, his farm in Durand in northwest Illinois, near the Wisconsin border, had gone 45 straight days without rain.

Northwest Illinois got some spotty shower activity over the weekend, but another dry, 90-plus degree week is forecast for this week.
