July 22nd, 2013

COVER CROPSTwo Western Illinois soil and water conservation district offices are promoting the use of cover crops. Both the Rock Island and Mercer County agencies have received American Farmland Trust grants and the purpose is to get more row crop producers to move forward with cover crops such as cereal rye.
