Corn Yields Variable Early In Western Illinois Harvest Season

corn fieldSome variability being seen in yield monitors early in the Western Illinois harvest season. 82-year old John Line of Seaton has picked about 100 acres of corn–with top end at about 200-plus bushels per acre and bottom end as low as 60 bushels.
