City Hires Firm To Help With Water Problems

The Aledo City Council voted to hire Strand Associates, Inc. to help them with their water problems at Monday night’s meeting. Residents have been experiencing hard water lately due to problems with the city’s water treatment facility. Aledo Public Works Director Justin Blaser explains what the three things Strand Associates will do for the city.

The agreement for the water treatment facility will cost just under $25,000, the engineering support services will be $10,000 for the rest of 2017 and the filter effluent piping design services are not to exceed $5,000.
