Bond Remains At $500,000 For New Boston Man Arrested In Child Abuse Case

Bond remains at $500,000 for a New Boston man arrested in a child abuse investigation. 27 year old Bradley Clark waived his preliminary hearing this morning in Mercer County Circuit Court on a Class X felony of aggravated battery. He was arrested last month following an investigation by the New Boston Police Department with assistance from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. The charge accuses Clark of squeezing a three-month old infant and causing the child’s ribs to become broken at the spine. Clark remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail with a pre-trial conference set for July 2nd.
