Aledo To Receive $591,000 In State Funding For Multi-Use Path

mutli-use pathThe City of Aledo wins $591,000 in state funding for a multi-use path.  The funding is through the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program and was announced today by Governor Pat Quinn. The 6.2 mile project would link the Wal-Mart area to Fenton Park and extend to the Apollo/Mercer County Intermediate School campus and then would go north to Northside Park and then back around to East Main Street.
