An Aledo man has been sentenced to just over 11-years in prison on two federal child pornography counts. The 136-month sentence was handed down today in U.S. District Court in Rock Island to 36 year old Joaquin Cook. He pleaded guilty to the charges in June. The federal case against Cook was announced in February. The child pornography charges were the result of a theft investigation last November where Cook was accused of stealing items from the Aledo Walmart.
