The median sales price for a home in Mercer County during 2012 is $80,000. That year to date number is from the Illinois Association of Realtors and represents a 19 percent increase from a year ago. For the month of November, ten homes were sold in Mercer County, which is up 25-percent from the same period a year ago, but the median sales price was $63,250 for that month, which represents a 29-percent decrease from last year at this time. The median sales price was $70,000 in October, which is down 16-percent from a year ago.

Statewide in November, home sales increased 30.6 percent over previous year levels and median prices increased 7.7 percent to $140,000.
