The City of Aledo will be offering permanent water service to Joy. An intergovernmental agreement was approved this week by the Aledo City Council allowing Joy to tap into Aledo’s transmission line says Aledo Public Works Director Steve Moller.

Aledo had been offering Joy temporary water service since last spring due to a problem with Joy’s wells. Aledo’s well field and treatment plant is located west of Joy.
