The Mercer County School Board moves forward with placing a 1-percent sales tax on the April 9th ballot. The action taken last night says Unit 404 Superintendent Alan Boucher.

The vote to place the issue on the ballot was 5-2, with Dwight Shoemaker and Barb Chiles voting no.
