New also helps with the Summer Ag Institute and organized a new nutrition and agriculture station at the Rock Island AgXPerience. She also chairs the Earth Week Fair booth. Through Earth Week, she has reached more than 15,000 individuals since 2004. Through AgXPerience, she has had contact with more than 7,500 students.
