State Ticket Sales for Friday 11/23 at 1pm:

State Finals Tickets will be available for purchase at Mercer County High School from 8am-4pm on Monday and Tuesday and from 8-11am on Wednesday. Tickets are $10 (no matter what age although an infant in arms generally is not charged at IHSA events). Tickets are festival seating and they are unassigned. MCHS is the Home team for the 1pm State Final game this Friday at Memorial Stadium on the campus of the U of I in Champaign, IL which will be on the East side of the stadium. MCHS has received an allotment of 750 tickets from the IHSA and they are being sold on a first come first served basis. In the event that we would sell all 750 tickets, tickets can be purchased on game day at Memorial Stadium. Plenty of seats are available for purchase on game day at Memorial Stadium.

Fan Bus: MCHS will offer a fan bus which will leave MCHS Friday morning at 8am from the High School. The cost is $5 to the ride the fan bus and a minimum # of 20 paid riders is needed to send the bus. Please sign up and pay at the MCHS office by 9am on Wednesday to reserve your seat and cheer for the Golden Eagles as they vie for the IHSA 2A State Championship Friday at 1pm. Students of Junior High age or lower must ride with an adult. High School students in good standing may ride the fan bus with parent permission. Each rider is responsible for their own meals and ticket into the game. The fan bus will leave Champaign 45 minutes after the end of the contest so that fans can watch the trophy presentation after the game.

Tent City: Each year the IHSA provides each participating school with a tent area adjacent to Memorial Stadium where fans can tailgate both before and after the game. The MCHS booster club will be in charge of the tent and MCHS fans are encouraged to stop by and tailgate.

Community Pep Rally: The pep rally/send off for the team will begin at 4pm on Thursday, 11/22/12 at the HS gym. The team will then leave for Champaign at or around 4:30pm on Thursday.
