The Orion Chargers volleyball team was looking to win the sixth sectional championship Thursday night at Sherrard but Riverdale captured the title.  Riverdale won in straight games 25-26, 25-21 to advance to the Class 2A  Serena Super-Sectional.  The Chargers owned a win over the Rams back at the Orion Charger Challenge in October but Riverdale got their revenge on a neutral floor.  Orion closes out the season at 31-5-1 while Riverdale improved to 32-3 and will meet Watseka, also 32-3, Saturday afternoon in the super-sectional.
