Orion and Amboy will be playoff rivals this weekend, but they’ll be conference rivals next year. Orion will head to the Three Rivers Conference next fall, which is home to Amboy and head football coach Gary Jones.

It’s a similar situation for Orion this week in volleyball as they play Riverdale for a sectional title. Riverdale is also in the Three Rivers Conference. Sherrard and Rockridge are also heading to the Three Rivers next fall.
