Mercer County School District Being Impacted By Less State Aid

Not only is the Mercer County School District being impacted by a loss of consolidation incentive money, but Unit 404 is also receiving a lot less state aid since the merger four years ago. Superintendent Alan Boucher has a breakdown of the numbers.

The district is receiving the last allotment of consolidation incentive money this school year, which amounts to $600,000. That revenue source will be gone next school year.
