Mercer County Sheriff’s Department Reports Self-Inflicted Shooting Death

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a shooting death, but it looks to be self inflicted. The male victim was found laying in the yard at 220th Street on Tuesday. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Mercer County Coroner and the Illinois State Police CSI Unit.
