WRMJ News Director Jim Taylor spoke with Brad Zwilling–an Extension Specialist and Farm Business Analyst at the University of Illinois. Zwilling says the latest data shows that the average farm real estate value for Illinois is $6,700 per acre, up 17.5 percent from a year ago.  Since 2000, Illinois farm real estate values have increased 196 percent.
