Concern Continues Over Crop Conditions In Western Illinois

Another small drink of water for corn and soybean crops in Western Illinois, but nothing substantial. Brad Jackson of Ophiem in Henry County operates a grain trucking business and he’s hearing more concern each day about the condition of the corn and soybean crop.

Some isolated areas of Western Illinois received upwards of 2-inches of rain on Sunday–but it occurred in a two-hour downpour and not a steady rain.
