Legislation Would Prohibit Schools From Being Polling Places

Legislation being introduced in Springfield could impact a Mercer County polling place. The measure would prohibit voting to take place at schools. It’s all about safety says State Representative Jack Franks and State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka.

Mercer County Intermediate School in Aledo currently serves as a polling place in Mercer Precinct 3.
