Mercer County Zoning Officer Resigns, County Board Chairman Assumes Duties

March 5th, 2013

Mercer County Zoning Officer Davina Logsdon has resigned. Her resignation was announced at tonight’s Mercer County Board meeting.  That leaves the Supervisor of Assessments office with two vacancies as Supervisor of Assessments Don St. Germaine was fired last month. Vicki Bull is serving as interim Supervisor of Assessments and Mercer County Board Chairman Jeff McWhorter is handling zoning officer duties until a replacement can be found. McWhorter says the new Supervisor of Assessments may also be able to assume zoning officer responsibilities.

Also tonight, Donald Bell of Aledo was appointed to the county board. He fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Bill Olson last month.
