An Aledo man has been arrested on a criminal sexual assault warrant. 45 year old Charles Cooper was taken into custody yesterday. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $125,000 bond. Cooper is charged with a Class 2 and Class 4 felony. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 12th. The Aledo Police Department and Illinois Department of Children and Family Services are involved in the investigation.
