As many local schools deal with budgetary challenges, some are looking at outsourcing for various services. The Mercer County School District is looking at outsourcing all of its bussing, and now Sherrard is exploring that as well. Sherrard superintendent Becky Rodocker is hoping the district can realize some savings. She says the change is also needed because Sherrard is looking at going to a universal start time for all of its buildings.
