Mercer County Board member Bill Olson has resigned. The resignation was announced at last night’s meeting and is effective immediately. The Mercer County Democratic Central Committee will now recommend a replacement and submit the name to the county board chairman. That appointment must then be approved by the full county board. Olson has moved to Davenport.
