Mercer County wins the Sherrard 1A wresttling regional today. The Eagles scored 205.5 points to finish ahead of second place Erie-Prophetstown, who scored 177 points. Mercer County qualifies for the team dual sectional on Tuesday, February 19th at Byron. The Eagles also qualify 11 wrestlers for the individual sectional next weekend in Oregon–Zach Nelson, Alex Kisner, Bobby Lincoln, Mason Weeks, Tristen Finch, Matt Weeks, Preston Adams, Jon Ricke, Devin Morford, Logan Snyder and Ashton Klingaman. Nelson won his fourth individual regional title today.
