Mercer County Board Chairman Jeff McWhorter confirms with WRMJ this morning that a termination vote will take place concerning Mercer County Supervisor of Assessments Don St. Germaine at Tuesday night’s regular Mercer County Board meeting. McWhorter says St. Germaine was placed on paid administrative leave Friday. He was escorted out of the Mercer County Courthouse Friday morning by Mercer County Sheriff’s officials. Mercer County Sheriff Tom Thompson tells WRMJ the issue is a personnel matter being dealt with by the county board and not a criminal matter.
