Mercer County Supervisor of Assessments Don St. Germaine was escorted out of the Mercer County Courthouse by Mercer County Sheriff’s officials earlier today. Mercer County Sheriff Tom Thompson would only confirm that the matter is a personnel issue that could likely be dealt with at Tuesday’s regularly scheduled Mercer County Board meeting. No other information has been released. Calls seeking comment from St. Germaine have not been returned. It’s unclear what St. Germaine’s status is with the county at this time. He was hired in Mercer County in August of 2010.
