When you are a Big Ten college basketball recruit, you get a lot of attention. Rockridge junior Ethan Happ is experiencing that right now. Some of what’s being said involves rumors that he is transferring to Rock Island High School, but his family tells WRMJ that is far from being true. Rockridge head basketball coach Toby Whiteman says unfortunately that type of talk comes with the territory.

Ironically, Whiteman was a standout basketball player at Knoxville High School and he says there was much unfound talk of him transferring to Rock Island. The 6’7 Happ verbally committed to Wisconsin last summer.
