The Mercer County Farm Bureau hosting its Winter Market Outlook Program this week.  The session is Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Farm Bureau building in Aledo and the featured speaker is Agrivisor Market Analyst Dale Durcholz. He says the latest numbers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture show a sharp drop in corn stocks as of December 1st, down 17-percent from the year previous, which means corn prices should stay strong on the Chicago Board of Trade.
