Even though the state still owes the Mercer County Fair about $23,000 in premium reibursements, the event is still in pretty good shape. And that’s because of corporate sponsors says Fair Board President Roger Grundstrom of New Boston. He spoke with the Aledo City Council last night.

The city has agreed to contribute $2,500 to the event and also abate the fair’s water bill during July. This year’s Mercer County Fair is July 7th through the 13th.
