Eagles Finish Third At St. Thomas More New Year’s Challenge

Mercer County finishes third at the St. Thomas More New Year’s Challenge at Huff Hall on the University of Illinois campus today. The Eagles took down IVC 58-15 and upended Olympia 52-19 before losing to Plano 34-28 in the semifinals. Mercer County ended the day with a 50-24 win over Shelbyville in the third place match.
