The Aledo City Council has approved awarding a $655,000 contract to Frye Builders & Associates for an interior renovation project of City Hall. The action taken last night says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
Hagloch says the project is anticipated to start next month with completion in the spring. Also last night, aldermen made a couple of personnel decisions. They accepted the resignation with regret of Water Superintendent Travis Matlick and approved a Certified Water System Operator agreement with former Water Superintendent Mark Blythe.
Blythe can begin working for the city this week.
