Some improvements being made to Aledo’s Monument Park. The site honors 352 Mercer County soldiers killed during the Civil War. Aledo Economic Development Coordinator Tarah Sipes provided an update to the City Council this week.
Monument Park is located at Northwest 3rd Street and Northwest 3rd Avenue. The park was originally dedicated in 1868.
