Two local causes getting some help this weekend. One is the Shop with a Hero program says Aledo Police Department’s Nick Seefeld.
Seefeld says the other effort getting help this weekend is the new Mercer County TRIAD program.
A golf outing being organized this Saturday by Chris DeFrieze at Brookstone of Aledo is raising funds for both TRIAD and Shop with a Hero programs. You can sign-up for the event from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday at Brookstone. DeFrieze is hoping to raise upwards of $5,000 for both causes.
