Late Mercer County Board Chairman Joe Vann
Mercer County Sheriff Dave Staley says he had a unique relationship with late Mercer County Board Chairman Joe Vann. The two were from opposite political parties and they both had to deal with a jail expansion after first being elected to office. Staley says Vann handled the situation like a champ.
Vann, who resided in New Boston, died last week. He was 63.
