New Attorney Appointed In Mercer County Meth Case

A conflict results in a new attorney being appointed for a Reynolds man facing a Class X felony meth delivery charge in Mercer County. 37 year old Cainen Young is also facing four other felony charges–Class 1 of possession of meth; Class 4 of aggravated fleeing; and two more Class 4 counts of criminal damage to property.  Young remains in the Mercer County Jail on $150,000 bond with a pre-trial conference set for April 11th. He is also facing misdemeanor charges from last month’s arrest including possession of drug paraphernalia as well as traffic citations for driving under the influence of drugs and driving on revoked license. Class X felonies are punishable by 6-to-30 years in prison upon conviction.
