Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies with an active weekend making seven arrests. 44 year old Patricia Ann Miller of Moline was cited for a hit and run accident near Sherrard on Friday; 18 year old Angela Almanza of Hampton was taken into custody Friday on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine; 31 year old Trenton Miller of New Windsor was picked up Friday on a felony theft warrant; 26 year old Joshua David Armstrong of Matherville was arrested Friday on a burglary warrant; 72 year old Frances K. Howard of Keithsburg was charged with DUI Saturday after her car became stuck in the sand and caught fire near Keithsburg Campground; Gage DeShane of Aledo was arrested Sunday for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while license suspended following a rollover crash near Millersburg; and also Sunday following a disorderly conduct/criminal damage complaint, 22 year old Bryce Hermanson of Aledo was arrested for filing a false police report, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident.
