Mercer County Meth Case Continued To Next Month

There’s been another continuance in the methamphetamine case against a Matherville woman. 25 year old Erica Sandusky appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court today and had her pre-trial conference pushed back to April 4th. She is facing Class X and Class 1 felony counts stemming from a 2015 arrest. Sandusky is being represented by Rock Island attorney John Steckel.  He is awaiting trial in Rock Island County on Class 1 and Class 4 felony controlled substance charges, accusing him of representing a client in exchange for Adderall.  Steckel is free on bond and will appear in Rock Island County Circuit Court for a pre-trial conference on April 21st.
Authorities continue to seek the whereabouts of Sandusky’s co-defendant—23 year old Charles Peacock of Milan. A $100,000 arrest warrant has been issued for him for a probation violation.
