A solar farm project could be in the future for Mercer County. The subject received attention at last night’s Mercer County Board Economic Development Committee meeting—chaired by Ron Fullerlove of Sherrard.
Mercer County Board Member Carlos Sarabasa of Aledo says the project is worthy of discussion.
There will be further discussion at the next Economic Development Committee meeting on February 20th. The name of the company that approached Mercer County is Cypress Creek Renewables from Arizona.
