A domestic disturbance in Joy results in one arrest. According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department report, a male subject suffered non-life threatening stab wounds during the Sunday incident. After investigating the matter, the male subject, Scott Weatherly of Joy was arrested for aggravated domestic battery. The female party was released without charges. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Joy Fire and Genesis Ambulance. Weatherly is being held in the Mercer County Jail pending a bond hearing.
