Another court appearance for the Burlington, Iowa man accused of attacking former Mercer County Board member Fred Rooth. 55 year old Brian Tully faces home invasion, residential burglary and aggravated battery charges stemming from the May beating. A 402 conference was held this morning in Mercer County Circuit Court to discuss a possible negotiated agreement. That’s a closed door meeting between the judge, state’s attorney and public defender. Tully is due back in court on November 20th. He was arrested in August and remains in the Mercer County Jail on $200,000 bond.
