iWireless Center “Likely” To Submit Proposal To Host IHSA State Basketball Tournaments

iwireless centerCould America’s Original March Madness be playing in the Quad Cities? Scott Mullen, Executive Director with Moline’s iWireless Center confirming with WRMJ today that they “will likely” submit a proposal to host the Illinois High School Association state basketball tournaments. The IHSA’s current agreements for the boys state tournament at the Peoria Civic Center and girls state tournament at Redbird Arena in Normal end after next season. The IHSA is expected to make a final decision on the tournament sites next March. The new contracts would include state tournaments from 2016 through 2020.
