Former Wal-Mart Employee Waives Prelim In Forgery And Controlled Substance Case

wal mart pharmacyA former Aledo Wal-Mart employee has waived her preliminary hearing in a controlled substance and forgery case filed against her.  A June 3rd pre-trial conference is set for 56 year old Tara Speck of Monmouth. She was among four former employees arrested last month after the Aledo Police Department was notified by the Asset Protection Manager of Wal-Mart that the company had conducted an internal investigation.  45 year old Robert A. Osborn of Rock Island, 76 year old Paul D. DeWilde of Silvis, and 52 year old Laura E. Diehl of Aledo are also facing controlled substance and forgery counts and are awaiting trial. A pre-trial conference has been set for May 19th for Osborn, May 5th for DeWilde, and May 12th for Diehl.
