Ameren Rates Under Discussion By ICC

iccAmeren Illinois’ plan to reduce the amount it charges to deliver electricity to homes and businesses does not go far enough, say members of the Illinois Commerce Commission. The company had planned to cut the rate by $37 million because of “overcollecting.” The ICC says it should be $45 million says ICC spokeswoman Beth Bosch.

The company wants to raise another $47 million for delivering natural gas, and that case is expected up next week.
