Marquette Catholic from Michigan City, Indiana donates to Washington tornado relief effort.

With devastation and destruction just blocks away, the Rockridge basketball program played a game in tornado ravaged Washington, Illinois on Tuesday night. The Rockets participated in the State Farm Tournament of Champions at Washington High School. Rockridge head coach Toby Whiteman says as the team bus traveled through town, it made a huge impact.

Herb Knoblauch is athletic director at Washington–the tournament features 33 games this week–with clean-up and rebuilding efforts in full swing just blocks away.
